How to Play Quarter Back Scramble

Quick start

Press START, choose 1PLAY with the D-pad, and confirm with A. Select quarter length and your team, then work through the coin toss. On the roster screen, select END and press A to keep the default lineup. Kickoff takes A to set up and A again to kick. On offense, choose a formation and play, confirming each with B, then snap with A. Press B to survey receivers and A to throw to the displayed target.

Controls

D-pad moves your player or menu selection. Use the D-pad and A to select formations/plays, then B to lock them in. A handles confirmations, snaps, and kickoffs. During possession, B freezes players and the clock; further B presses cycle targets. Scroll the field with the D-pad and press A to pass to the displayed receiver. Cycle back to the ball carrier and press A to resume without passing. On defense, move the blinking player into the runner. Between downs, SELECT opens substitutions/timeouts from the play-selection screen.

Quarter Back Scramble — About this game

Quarter Back Scramble gives you more than a running lane to follow: each down starts with a formation and a play call. With the ball, you can keep running or freeze the action to inspect potential receivers before choosing a pass. Defense puts one highlighted player under your control while teammates react around you. Field position matters too, especially when fourth down forces a choice between going for the gain, punting, or trying a field goal. Besides solo play and head-to-head games, a cooperative mode splits passer and receiver duties. WATCH is a coaching mode: players move automatically, but you still call formations and plays.
