Quiz! Nihongo-ou — About this game
Test Japanese expressions, kanji and word origins through questions supervised by Yasuo Kitahara. A ten-question Japanese test mixes two- or three-choice answers with reading and writing, and its results can raise your in-game rank toward Nihongo-ou. Kanji Five-Storey Tower provides another route, climbing stages by solving character problems. Begin with a short test, read exactly what the expression asks and check a missed character before climbing the tower. The challenge is to distinguish familiar-looking but different words and usage, not simply write the first phrase that comes to mind.
