How to Play Rad Racer II
Quick start
Press START, study the course map, then press START again. Use A to accelerate, B to brake, and Left/Right to steer. For a power start from 0 mph, press Down until the gauge fills, then press A.
Controls
A: accelerate. B: brake. Left/Right: steer. Up: turbo acceleration. Down at a standstill: charge the power-start gauge, then A launches. START: begin or leave the map screen. SELECT on the course map: cycle music. To retry, leave Course Progress with START, then press A+START at the title.
Rad Racer II — About this game
Rad Racer II sends you through eight courses, from coastal Key West to the Bay Bridge, with city lights, desert scenery and mountain roads between them. Each course has two intermediate checkpoints; spare seconds carry into the next timed section. Traffic, roadside obstacles and difficult bends threaten your progress by wasting that time. A dashboard arrow previews the approaching road, helping you prepare your position. The power-start system charges the engine while stopped, then launches the car at high speed. Two music tracks and a silent option can be selected before racing.
