Choose a control scheme and enter Tennis School. Practise serves and returns, then create a Career player and try the first available tournament.
Controls
Use the stylus racket actions taught by Tennis School, or select the conventional button scheme and follow its lessons. Time each stroke and return to a useful court position between shots.
Rafa Nadal Tennis — About this game
Rafa Nadal Tennis brings serves, lobs, drop shots and smashes to the DS. Begin in Tennis School to learn the selected control scheme before entering a match. The stylus acts as the racket, so timing the stroke matters as well as choosing where to send the ball; a conventional button scheme is also available. Career Mode lets you create a player, improve abilities and unlock further tournaments. Start with a reliable return and court positioning before trying a more demanding shot near the net. Original-console wireless supports matches with up to three friends. Each rally asks you to recover after a shot, read the incoming ball and choose a useful placement rather than simply strike continuously.
