How to Play Ragnarok DS
Quick start
Follow Ales's opening story and first quest. Practise movement and enemy targeting, check the character's equipment and learn one skill before taking more optional tasks.
Controls
Touch a destination or use the D-pad to move. Tap an enemy to begin attacks, and use the touch menus for skills, equipment and items. Read the skill's target and requirements before activating it.
Ragnarok DS — About this game
Ragnarok DS gives Ales an adventure separate from the PC online world. Travel between towns and fields, accept story or optional quests and gain experience by fighting monsters. Tap an enemy to begin regular attacks, then choose skills and manage the party rather than striking every blow manually. Different jobs change the available abilities, making character development part of planning the next trip. Start with the opening quest, practise targeting a nearby enemy and inspect equipment before venturing farther. The Mirage Tower is a separate randomly generated dungeon activity originally supporting up to three participants. The main story remains playable as its own adventure; do not treat former Nintendo Wi-Fi matchmaking as an available browser feature.
