How to Play Rainbow Islands Revolution
Quick start
Choose Story mode and Easy to learn the movement. Practise dragging the bubble upward a short distance, then release it to draw a rainbow across a nearby enemy. Grab the bubble again promptly before it drifts into danger. Tap a rainbow to drop it onto enemies below and collect rewards only with a safe route. Keep checking the upper screen before climbing into the next area.
Controls
DS: drag the character's bubble with the stylus to move; draw outside it to create rainbows and tap a rainbow to drop it. In Story mode, hold L or R while drawing a circle to trap an enemy, then drag and fling the trapped bubble into others. When the Star gauge is full, tap the gauge and draw a five-pointed star for the screen-clearing attack. Releasing the bubble leaves it drifting.
Rainbow Islands Revolution — About this game
Rainbow Islands Revolution rebuilds the climbing action around a bubble controlled with the DS stylus. Drag the bubble to move, then draw elsewhere on the screen to create rainbows that catch enemies and produce rewards. You cannot steer and draw an attack at the same time: when you release the bubble it drifts, so finding a safe place to attack is central to the game. Tapping a drawn rainbow drops it onto enemies below. Story mode adds special gestures, including a circle that traps enemies and a star attack when its gauge is full. The upper screen previews the climb, helping you plan your next move before returning to the touch screen.
