Quick start
Start the story and learn Remy's movement in the opening area. Read the collection target, practise cover and follow the first cooking sequence from preparation through plating.
Controls
Choose traditional or touch-screen movement for platforming and follow the jump and interaction prompts. Cooking uses the stylus guides for cutting, stirring and plating; supported microphone input handles cooling.
Ratatouille — About this game
Ratatouille on DS follows Remy's journey into Paris and combines three kinds of play. Explore platforms to reach a destination or collect ingredients and recipes, then use cover in stealth missions so humans do not catch him. Cooking changes the task completely: follow stylus guides to cut ingredients, manage three burners and finish by plating. Watch the heat while adding ingredients; stirring raises the temperature, and supported microphone input cools a pot when needed. Begin with the opening exploration and practise a safe route before rushing past a human. The cooking activities can also be played separately from the story, so you can return to a kitchen sequence after learning its stages.
