Ready Steady Cook adapts the show's competition into a sequence of cooking tasks. Choose the red tomato or green pepper kitchen and a chef, then select an available ingredient bag. Follow the chef through preparation, mixing, cutting, frying and plating before time runs out. The audience's result depends on completed tasks and the ingredients' difficulty, so finishing cleanly matters as well as speed. Successful dishes unlock further ingredients and add a recipe to the collection. Begin with an available basic bag, read the current preparation cue and complete one recipe before trying a more demanding selection. Each step changes the action required, making it important to look at the new prompt rather than repeat the last gesture.
