How to Play Real Soccer 2008

Choose training or a friendly, select teams and read the button guide. Practise a pass and shot, then learn the touch prompt when a penalty or free kick occurs.
Controls
Use the D-pad to move and the displayed face-button commands for passing and shooting. Set pieces use their touch-screen instructions; referee appeals use supported microphone input when prompted.
Real Soccer 2008 — About this game
Real Soccer 2008 brings three-dimensional football to DS with friendlies, cups and leagues. Begin with a short match or training, learn passing and shooting through the displayed button guide and look for space before advancing the ball. Set pieces use the lower screen, giving penalties and free kicks a different interaction from open play. Supported microphone input also lets you appeal to the referee at the relevant prompt. This edition has local multiplayer but does not include the mobile version's scenario challenge mode. Build an attack with a safe pass, move into a useful position and practise one set piece before starting a longer competition. The distinction between normal play and a stopped-ball situation is central to using the handheld features.
