How to Play Rekishi Taisen - Gettenka - Tenkaichi Battle Royale
Quick start
Choose the first story, visit a battle space and select your three card types. Practise movement, jumping and a short combo, then watch for Rush orbs.
Controls
D-pad moves, B jumps, A uses the character move, Y attacks weakly and X strongly; hold X to charge. Touch displayed special moves and follow number-linking prompts during Rush.
Rekishi Taisen - Gettenka - Tenkaichi Battle Royale — About this game
The DS Gettenka uses side-view action instead of the arcade game's card-battle format. In Tenka Fubu, move across story spaces and assemble character, weapon and item cards before a fight. Positioning and combos earn points; collected Rush orbs fill a gauge and lead to a number-linking Rush challenge. Start with a simple loadout and learn weak versus charged attacks before changing equipment. Battles award points within the time limit, so hiding alone will not win. Free Battle supports original DS local competition for up to four players, with separate communication setup.
