How to Play Relics: Ankoku Yousai
Quick start
Load from side A, select START using SELECT on the title, and start with the START button. Select CONTINUE to restart from recording. When instructions to switch sides appear on the screen, follow them. First, use Blade Army's sword to examine the surrounding area, and use B to break walls and statues to find strengthening and recovery items. When turning around, turn your back to the top and enter left and right. Once you run out of stamina, press SELECT to select SAVE or CONTINUE, and press START to confirm.
Controls
A: Jump. B: Attack with current body weapon. Left and right: forward and backward. To turn it the other way, press the top once, turn your back to it, then press the left or right side of the side you want to face. Above: Standing from a prone position, turning your back, climbing a ladder. Down: Lay down/go down the ladder. Defend by retreating the moment the enemy attacks. If you attack with B once while jumping and then press A, you can jump further. START: Start/pause. SELECT: START/CONTINUE of title, SAVE/CONTINUE selection after game over.

This is an exploration action game in which the disembodied soul of a hero infiltrates a fortress occupied by Hel, the ruler of darkness. At first, you act as a blade army with a sword, and by using the warriors you can possess among defeated opponents, you will acquire different fighting methods such as fists, guns, and magic. Each body has different physical strength and attack range, so it is important to consider their compatibility with the guardian monster. By destroying the walls and stone statues in the passageways, you may find items that are useful for strengthening weapons and restoring stamina. The goal is to collect five idols guarded by monsters from all over the place and advance to the upper layer where the princess was captured. Learn the unique maneuver of not turning around immediately just by pressing the direction of movement, and explore the depths of the fortress while also using defense by retreating.
