How to Play Resident Evil: Deadly Silence
Quick start
Choose a mode and character, inspect the opening room and practise movement safely. Read item clues, equip a weapon and plan the next door while checking supplies.
Controls
D-pad moves with character-relative turning. R readies the equipped weapon and L the knife; use the action and dash buttons assigned in Options. In Rebirth knife battles tap to stab or slide to slash; START opens the subscreen during normal play.
Resident Evil: Deadly Silence — About this game
Choose Jill or Chris and investigate the mansion through locked doors, item puzzles and dangerous corridors. Space and ammunition are limited, so inspect objects and plan what to carry rather than fighting every enemy. Classic follows the familiar survival-horror structure; Rebirth changes the balance and adds touch-screen knife encounters and interactive puzzles. Begin with one mode and check its control configuration before leaving the opening rooms. In Rebirth, a sudden first-person knife battle changes your input from normal movement to stylus attacks. Return to exploration only after clearing that encounter and checking your condition.
