How to Play Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure
Quick start
Read the opening story, speak to nearby characters and inspect the party. In the first battle choose Fight and compare an ordinary attack with the available spell commands.
Controls
Use the movement controls shown on the DS and menus for exploration. Touch battle commands such as Fight, Run or Auto, then choose an action and target. Check party HP and items between encounters.
Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure — About this game
Cornet's search for Prince Ferdinand mixes fairy-tale travel, puppets and musical scenes. The DS version uses straightforward turn-based commands rather than the original PlayStation movement grid. Choose attacks, spells or other available actions for the party and watch the turn resolve; Kururu can fight from the beginning. Begin by talking to people in the first area and checking the party before entering battles. The touch menu separates Fight, Run and Auto, so inspect manual commands before relying on automatic combat. Songs form part of the storytelling rather than a rhythm-chart challenge, and this US DS edition uses Japanese song tracks.
