How to Play Rhythm Heaven
Quick start
Choose the screen orientation, using Lefty if needed, and flick the opening character upward. Create a New Game file, practise the flick lesson and start Built to Scale. Listen to the rising notes and flick the rod on the target beat; finish the practice before attempting the full song.
Controls
The DS game uses a sideways layout. Tap on the beat; for release inputs, hold the stylus down and lift on cue. A flick starts on the Touch Screen and moves upward quickly before lifting off. Follow each game’s practice instructions for its gesture and timing. START opens the pause menu.
Rhythm Heaven — About this game
Rhythm Heaven turns simple stylus gestures into a changing collection of musical jobs and comic scenes. One game asks you to assemble parts with a flick; another makes you copy a rhythm or hold a note for the right length. Each lesson teaches its own cues, and later remixes switch between familiar games within one song. Passing opens the next challenge, while stronger performances earn medals that unlock extras in the Medal Corner.
