How to Play Risk / Battleship / Clue
Quick start
Press START and choose Risk, Battleship or Clue. Risk begins by placing armies: concentrate your opening force in Europe or North America, then attack only adjacent or line-connected territories and aim to control a full continent for bonus troops. In Battleship, choose Normal or the quicker Salvo rules, spread the five ships across the 10×10 grid and press B to rotate a ship before confirming it; after a hit, probe neighbouring squares to discover its direction. In Clue, roll into rooms and make suggestions to eliminate suspects, weapons and rooms; reserve an accusation until the journal leaves one of each.
Controls
Menus and all three board games use the D-pad to move the highlight or board cursor, A to confirm a choice/place a piece/select a square, B to cancel or return, and START to pause. In Battleship setup, B rotates the selected ship before placement. Risk uses the cursor and prompts to deploy armies, choose an attacking territory and move troops; Clue uses the cursor to move the token, choose suggestions or accusations and mark the journal. No separate action is assigned to L, R or SELECT because the GBA-specific guide and footage do not establish one.
