How to Play River City Ransom EX
Quick start
Choose Story, review the game settings and select OK to begin as Alex and Ryan outside Cross Town High. Clear the gang on the opening screen, move east to Sticksville 3rd Street, then continue through the Vacant Tire Factory toward the first boss, Thor. If you are controlling Alex, clearing both opening areas and returning to Cross Town High can recruit Gary early. Pick up dropped weapons, collect defeated enemies' money and spend it in shops on food for statistics or books for techniques before tackling later bosses.
Controls
D-pad: move; double-tap left or right to run; navigate menus. A: punch, swing a held weapon and confirm. B: kick, throw a held weapon and cancel; Down+B drops a weapon. A+B: jump. Hold A or B, then release: charge the corresponding power attack when available. START: pause and open the Command Menu. SELECT: switch command displays on the Technique screen. The manual also uses L to jump to the first list entry or turn pages in supported menus.
