How to Play Robocalypse
Quick start
Play the first campaign missions and follow their integrated tutorial. Select a hero and tap a nearby destination to learn direct control. When regular troops are introduced, tap the action-flag icon and place a flag at the requested point. Follow the lessons on resources and control points; check that troops are moving towards the objective before adding more flags.
Controls
Tap a hero or hero icon, then tap a location to move or an enemy to attack. Tap the hero's ability icons for available powers. For regular robots, tap the action-flag icon then a location, enemy or damaged friendly target to set the relevant priority. Use the shield/defence icon for a defensive position. The D-pad scrolls the map; touch buildings and interface icons to open their menus.
Robocalypse — About this game
A robot-factory accident sets Demolisher's army against humanity, and a makeshift force with veteran soldiers' minds must stop it. The DS battles play out in real time while you build support facilities, gather scrap and hold control points for energy. Heroes are the units you can select and command directly. Ordinary robots instead respond to action flags, interpreting the marked location as a rally point, attack or repair priority according to the target. That difference shapes the opening missions, whose tutorial gradually introduces the army's workings. Keeping a hero near the important fight gives you a dependable unit while the rest of the force responds to flags. You must watch the actual movement on the map, since a placed flag is an instruction for autonomous troops rather than direct control over one selected soldier.
