How to Play RoboCop 3
Quick start
Press START to begin. Walk with Left or Right, jump with B and fire with A. Stop at a safe spot to try Up+A and Down+A for diagonal shots before advancing into crossfire. SELECT changes the available weapon, so check the status panel rather than assuming the same ammunition is still equipped. Collect energy pods and repair icons. At the workshop, move the cursor to a damaged body part and use A to spend a repair token. During flight, B provides lift instead of a jump.
Controls
D-pad Left/Right: move. Up: aim upward or face a doorway/computer terminal; Down: duck. A: fire. Up+A/Down+A: fire diagonally up/down. B: jump on foot; use rocket lift while flying. SELECT: select a weapon. START: begin or pause. In the repair workshop, move the cursor to a body part and press A to repair it.
RoboCop 3 — About this game
RoboCop 3 puts the cyborg officer on the side of Detroit's residents as OCP's Rehabs force families from their homes. The NES game combines armed street patrols, industrial platforms and an airborne mission using a gyropack. Gunfire and missiles can be upgraded, while the status panel helps you keep track of the selected ammunition. Damage is not just a shrinking energy supply: injuries to the legs, arms, body and head affect different functions. Energy pickups help during a stage, but repair icons are saved for the workshop between missions, where you decide which damaged area needs attention. Protecting your movement and firepower becomes part of reaching the next encounter.
