How to Play RoboCop
Quick start
Press START to begin. Walk left or right, use B to punch nearby opponents, and use A when a gun is available. Take stairs with Up or Down rather than looking for a jump button. Duck to attack low targets and press Down to collect pickups. Check both energy and power as you advance. After collecting another weapon, pause with START, choose it with Up or Down, then press START again to return to the action.
Controls
D-pad Left/Right: walk. Up: look upward or climb stairs. Down: duck, descend stairs, or collect objects. A: fire. B: punch. SELECT: guard; combine with Down to block a low punch. START: begin, pause, or resume. While paused, Up/Down changes the equipped weapon. There is no jump button.
RoboCop — About this game
RoboCop's NES patrol is a deliberate march through hostile streets and buildings, rather than a platform adventure full of jumps. You must deal with enemies at different heights, use stairways to change floors, and punch through sections where your firearm is unavailable. Energy drains as the mission continues, while power measures how many more hits your armor can withstand, so different recovery pickups solve different problems. Extra guns offer useful firepower but come with ammunition to watch. Pause to choose the right weapon instead of wasting a limited supply, and keep enough strength for the opposition waiting farther into each mission.
