Quick start
At the title screen press A, set the date and time, then choose NEW GAME. Follow the opening conversation, enter your name and birthday, and use A to speak with people and examine the company. Open the command menu with START to check your Robopon and available equipment. Use its Save option before setting out to explore.
Controls
D-pad: move or select commands. A: talk, search, open chests and confirm. B: speed up field text; cancel or leave menus. START on the field: command menu, including Save. SELECT on the field: date and time; in the command menu, rearrange items and Robopon. Choose battle actions through the command menus.

Robot Poncots: Comic Bom Bom Special Version for Game Boy Color. Travel between towns, talk to residents and gather a party of up to four Robopon. Turn-based battles offer attacks, techniques, items, guarding and switching robots. Magnets can capture weakened opponents, while parts and software expand the abilities of compatible machines. Winning also provides Energyballs for robots that can evolve; the laboratory handles evolution and other upgrades. Spare robots and equipment can be kept in the garage.
