How to Play Robots
Quick start
Read the first robot's request, explore nearby paths and collect needed parts. When a gadget template appears, position and rotate its pieces before trying the new ability.
Controls
Use D-pad and displayed movement, jump and attack commands in the city. Drag gadget pieces with the stylus and rotate with the D-pad. Use touch steering in transit and map drawing when its screen is open.
Robots — About this game
Rodney's DS adventure uses an isometric city with errands, enemies and routes that open as his abilities improve. Gather parts for tools and fit them to a template on the lower screen, using the stylus to position pieces and the D-pad to rotate. Wonderbot's upgrades add possibilities such as hovering, so revisit a blocked route after gaining a new skill. Begin by talking to nearby robots and noting the parts they need before wandering onward. The lower-screen map can hold temporary sketches, while transit sequences use touch movement to avoid obstacles. Treat those activities separately from normal city exploration.
