How to Play Rock Revolution
Quick start
Choose one instrument, an easy difficulty and a song. Watch the first symbols and rehearse its tap or swipe direction; check microphone input before choosing vocals.
Controls
Guitar: swipe up/down as shown. Bass: swipe the indicated string. Drums: tap the matching screen pad. For vocals sing into the original DS microphone and follow its pitch guide; menus select part and difficulty.
Rock Revolution — About this game
Choose an instrument and learn its own chart before starting a career performance. Guitar uses directional swipes across a strumming zone; bass spreads the swipes across separate strings; drums ask for taps on the indicated pads. Vocals use the original DS microphone rather than the same touch gesture. Start with a slow difficulty and one part, keeping the incoming symbol and target area visible. Changing instrument means relearning where to respond, not just selecting a different sound. Career progress and performance goals provide reasons to return to a song after you understand its pattern.
