How to Play Mega Man Xtreme
Quick start
Begin a new Normal game and move through the opening highway stage. Shoot approaching enemies with B, use A to cross gaps and practise Down+A to dash on safe ground. Watch for collapsing road sections. After the introduction, choose a boss stage and learn its route before chasing hidden upgrades.
Controls
D-pad: move and climb ladders. A: jump. B: fire; with ordinary attack settings, hold B and release for a charged X-Buster shot. Down+A or a double-tap Left/Right: dash. SELECT opens the menu. START can be assigned to dash in Options; check that setting before using it as a dash button.
Mega Man Xtreme — About this game
Boss selection lets you plan which weapon to acquire next, while hidden Heart Tanks, Sub Tanks and armour capsules reward exploration. Normal and Hard modes contain different sets of bosses; completing them opens a broader Xtreme challenge. Memory Units mark progress within stages, so learning a dangerous section does not always mean repeating the whole level.
