How to Play Journey to Silius
Quick start
Press START at the title. Move with Left/Right, fire with B, and jump with A. Start cautiously with the handgun and use Down to lie beneath low incoming attacks. To change guns, press START, cycle through available weapons with SELECT, then press START again. Pink capsules recover health; blue capsules refill gun energy.
Controls
Left/Right moves; Down lies down; A jumps; B fires. START begins or continues play and opens/closes weapon selection. SELECT pauses/resumes during action, but cycles weapons on the selection screen. Up is unused. When gun energy runs out, Jay returns to the handgun.
Journey to Silius — About this game
Rough World sends Jay against the forces threatening a space-colony project after his father's death. Its five-stage campaign combines shooting with careful platform movement, taking you through ruined streets, underground passages, enemy installations, and a factory. The handgun remains available without draining weapon energy, while the shotgun and later upgrades offer stronger alternatives at a cost. Pickups restore health or ammunition, and acquired weapons can be selected to suit the next threat. Learn when to jump over attacks and when to lie down instead. The Japanese release has its own title and protagonist graphics, but retains the core weapon-switching action of Journey to Silius.
