How to Play Rubik's World
Quick start
Choose the cube tutorial and practice one row turn, or enter Roll and trace the next stopping point before moving. Read the new rule whenever you change activity.
Controls
Use the stylus to rotate the cube view and flick rows or columns. In Roll use the directional arrows on the touch screen; a moving Cubie cannot be redirected until it stops. Other activities use their own displayed touch tools.
Rubik's World — About this game
The DS collection goes beyond solving the familiar colored cube. Rotate the view with the stylus and flick a row or column to turn the cube, then try a different rule in Roll: a Cubie keeps moving until it meets an obstacle, so you must plan where it will stop before sending it toward the finish. Color adds face colors and sticky surfaces to that route planning. Other activities arrange blocks into spaces, while Compose lets you build a short musical pattern and Create assembles objects from colored cubes. Start with one activity's lesson instead of carrying cube gestures into every mode.
