How to Play Rugrats: I Gotta Go Party
Quick start
Press START at the title screen, then choose Single Player, Start a New Game and Story Mode. In each room, move the hand over a suspicious hiding place and press A; finding a Rugrat starts that character's mini-game. Win it, search every currently open room and use an open door to move on. A door marked with a red X stays locked until you have found the babies in the rooms already available. Quick Play instead gives you ten random games, while Free Play uses games already unlocked in Story Mode.
Controls
Menus: Control Pad Up/Down moves the choice, A confirms, B goes back. Story Mode: Control Pad moves the hand; A checks a hiding place or enters an open door. Mini-game controls change by event and are shown before play: most use the Control Pad plus A/B, while puzzle games such as Which Piece Fits and Worm-Mazing also use L/R to rotate pieces. START advances from the title screen; the accessible manual text does not document one universal pause button for every mini-game.
