Quick start
Follow the opening time-travel story and inspect the party. Try a normal battle, watch learned techniques and the Times Gear gauge, then read the first extra event choice before spending it.

SaGa 3 - Jikuu no Hasha - Shadow or Light — About this game
Dune and his companions travel through time to prevent a flooded future, using the ship Stethlos. This DS remake rebuilds growth and combat: characters can learn techniques during battle and change among six races, rather than following the original game's ordinary experience-level system. The Times Gear fuels special battle actions and extra story choices in the Scenario Synchro System. Begin with the opening mission, inspect equipment and learn a short sequence of commands. Watch the gauge before a time-based action, and read optional event choices without assuming every side story is required.
