How to Play Saihai no Yukue
Quick start
Read the opening situation, talk to available commanders and review the first Kotonoha. Hear a battlefield report before giving an order, then read a reluctant ally's objection before persuading them.
Controls
Use the DS dialogue, report and command menus. Select a Kotonoha or response appropriate to the conversation. Check the fan indicators during persuasion and read each report before issuing an order.
Saihai no Yukue — About this game
Saihai no Yukue turns Sekigahara into a conversation-led battle adventure. As Ishida Mitsunari, gather information during strategy scenes and keep key statements as Kotonoha items. Use them to persuade commanders who will not simply obey you. In battle, hear reports from headquarters, identify a weakness and choose the appropriate order, sometimes considering several maps. Begin by listening to the first allies rather than expecting direct sword combat. During persuasion, wrong replies reduce the opponent's willingness to listen, represented by fans; choose evidence and words that answer the actual objection.
