How to Play Sakata Gorou Kudan no Renju Kyoushitsu
Quick start
Choose an introductory lesson or a basic game. Locate the intersections and place a stone near the active part of the board. Check all four line directions after each reply. Before committing an attacking move, look for the opponent's direct threat and read any forbidden-move warning.
Controls
The D-pad moves the board cursor and selects menu entries. A places a stone or confirms; B cancels a pending selection or returns from menus. Use the displayed lesson controls to advance an explanation. Check the highlighted intersection carefully before confirming a move.

A useful move can attack in one direction and defend in another. Study horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines before placing a stone, then check whether the opponent can create an immediate win.
