How to Play Salt Lake 2002
Quick start
Press START, create or select a profile, then choose Time Trial to practise an event without difficulty settings, or Classic Mode for the six-event sequence. Classic begins with K120 Ski Jumping: press A when the wind is low to start, press A again at the ramp edge, keep the balance dot centred with the D-pad, then tap B twice for a higher-scoring telemark landing.
Controls
Menus: D-pad selects, A confirms, B returns. Downhill, slalom and snowboard: Left/Right steer, A crouches for speed, B brakes, R+direction makes a hard turn; tap A with countdown beeps for a power start. Bobsleigh: tap A rapidly for the run-up, B enters the sleigh, Left/Right steer and B brakes. Ski jump: A starts/jumps, D-pad balances, B lands, B twice telemark. Curling: A starts/throws, B skips the rival turn, L/R sweep left/right. START pauses.
