How to Play Samurai Evolution: Oukoku Geist
Quick start
Select "From the beginning" on the title screen, select Masamune (male) or Kaguya (female), and enter your first and last name. Starting on the 4th floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Higashi-Sakura City, first talk to the brother and sister playing the piano, Chiaki on the 2nd floor, and Sakura sleeping on the 4th floor, then guide Sakura to Ichimonji Airport, Ichimonji Store, and Dojo. When he returns to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, he goes to the hospital after the defeat event, receives the sword medal from Lindsey, and proceeds to a mock battle. After trying out Kokeko, Nekomata, and Hachigou, he chooses the first Yaiba and leaves town after the star battle with Kotetsu. In the early stages, do not rely only on techniques of the same attribute, but retain the Haki of both Yaiba and Samurai. There is also strategy information that among the first three, Nekomata, who has many earth attributes from the early stage and is defensive, is difficult to handle.
Controls
In fields/menus, use the cross button to move/select items, A to speak/investigate/confirm, B to cancel/return to the previous screen, and START to open the in-game menu. In star battles, use the cross button to select commands and targets such as Yaiba, swordsmanship, singing, tools, etc., press A to confirm, and press B to cancel. Since it is not a real-time system, there is no pause operation specifically for battle, and you can check the opponent's attributes and the Haki of both parties before deciding on an action. The unique functions of L, R, and SELECT were not assigned because they could not be confirmed with reliable manual materials.
