How to Play San Francisco Rush 2049
Quick start
Press START and enter Options. Choose Steering 2 for left/right steering, then press SELECT to return. Pick Time Attack, a car and an unlocked track. Learn the first bends without traffic, watching the checkpoint timer. Move to Full Race when you can follow the route consistently.
Controls
The D-pad steers. Steering 1 uses the direction you want to travel; Steering 2 uses left/right to turn. A accelerates and B reverses. START pauses. In menus, use the D-pad and A; SELECT leaves Options. Drive through a power-up to activate it and follow the track arrows toward checkpoints.

Winning races opens more tracks, giving you new layouts to learn. Follow the route arrows and watch for signs leading toward walls or tunnels: a well-timed turn can reveal a shortcut. Flaming-tire pickups provide a speed burst and wrenches improve handling. Two steering schemes offer either direct directional control or left/right steering. Try them in Time Attack, then choose the one that makes the corners predictable before racing the field.
