How to Play Scooby-Doo! Classic Creep Capers
Quick start
Press START at the title and choose START GAME. Begin by exploring the mansion as Velma, examining books and pictures for the laboratory door code. Near an object, hold A and press Up to investigate. Talk to people before trying your inventory, and use SELECT when another character’s abilities are needed.
Controls
D-pad: move. Hold A with Up to examine, Left to talk or eat where appropriate, and Right to take or act on an object. B opens the inventory; choose an item with the D-pad and A, then close with B and use A+Down in the room. SELECT opens character selection; choose with Left/Right and A. START pauses.

The case develops through chapters, with puzzles built around conversations, hidden clues and items carried between rooms. The action icons distinguish examining, talking and using or taking objects, while a separate inventory keeps the things you have collected. Early on, Velma must search the mansion for the code that opens Jekyll Labs. Read dialogue carefully, revisit suspicious objects and record the chapter passwords to continue the investigation later.
