How to Play Scrabble
Quick start
Choose English, then select Classic Scrabble for the board game, Enigma for a 15-round highest-scoring-word challenge, or Anagram to reorder letters into a hidden word. For a first Classic game, set one human player and a low-level computer opponent, draw your rack and make the opening word across the centre square. Build crossing words and use premium squares carefully. Enigma replaces the seven letters after every round and reveals the best possible word, making it the clearest practice mode.
Controls
The GBA game uses a cursor-driven interface: follow the on-screen legends to move between the rack, board and commands, select letters, place them and validate or cancel a word. The accessible GBA review confirms that the interface is immediate and offers three layouts, but it does not publish a trustworthy button-by-button table. Exact A/B, shoulder-button and pause assignments are therefore intentionally not asserted; no Scrabble Blast, Game Boy or PlayStation controls were substituted.
