How to Play The Secret Saturdays: Beasts of the 5th Sun
Quick start
Begin Zak's opening stage, practise the Claw on the first ledge and read the helper prompt. Use the appropriate summon at a barrier and continue when its timer ends.
Controls
D-pad moves and the DS action buttons handle jumps and attacks according to the tutorial. Use the touch-screen menu to summon cryptids and check which ability is needed.
The Secret Saturdays: Beasts of the 5th Sun — About this game
Zak Saturday travels through side-scrolling stages to recover the family's stolen cryptid information. His Claw works as a weapon and grappling tool for reaching ledges, while summoned creatures briefly supply abilities he lacks. Fiskerton can tackle heavy obstacles and climbing, and other helpers offer different ways past enemies. Doc and Drew also have playable sections with their own attacks. Start by learning Zak's jump and Claw range, then summon a helper only when its ability matches the obstacle: its time is limited before control returns to Zak.
