Explore the creatures and compare their appearances as you work through the illustrated scenes. The encyclopedia theme directs attention to the insects themselves, giving children a reason to notice differences rather than simply recognize the Mushiking name. Select a beetle to focus on it and listen to the information attached to the current activity. Collecting and observation link the pages into a beetle-themed learning outing.
