Team Rocket has taken the Pokémon belonging to Ash, Misty and Brock, leaving Pikachu and Togepi behind. Getting their friends back means completing a collection of short activities built around numbers and elementary maths. The rescue story gives each exercise a purpose: answers help the group recover its missing companions. Voices from the animated series accompany the Japanese lessons, while the title screen uses an instrumental arrangement of the original anime theme. This Pico adventure puts counting practice at the centre of its Pokémon story.
