Use directions to choose the attack or guard position. Combine them with the attack or guard button; the fighters' footwork continues automatically.
Champion Kendou — About this game
White-armoured kendō fighters face a team in black in individual and team contests. The available attacks target the head, wrist and body, with a thrust adding another way through the opponent's defense. The fighters keep adjusting their distance automatically, so the contest is about recognising a useful opening rather than freely walking around an arena. Directional choices and the attack or guard action work together. A poorly timed strike gives away the initiative, while watching the opponent's approach helps you answer at the right range.
