How to Play Champion Soccer
Quick start
Choose Amateur for a first match. Move toward the ball, kick it into space ahead of a teammate, then advance toward the opposing goal and shoot from a clear line.
Controls
Directions move the currently controlled player. Press an action button near the ball to kick, using your position and facing to direct it; practise short exchanges before attempting longer advances.
Champion Soccer — About this game
Six-a-side teams turn the pitch into a quick contest of positioning and repeated kicks. The game offers amateur, semi-professional and professional computer opponents, with a second player able to challenge you instead. Watch the controlled player and the ball together, send the ball into open ground and move to meet it again before the other team does. Link passes between teammates and look for a clear shot. Position the next receiver ahead of the ball instead of constantly chasing it from behind.
