How to Play Championship Lode Runner
Quick start
Start from the title screen. Move along platforms and ladders, using button 1 to dig left and button 2 to dig right. Trap pursuing guards, collect all the gold and keep a route open to the escape ladder.

Button 1: dig left; button 2: dig right. Use the directional control to move along platforms and ladders. Use the digging action beside a block to open a route.
Championship Lode Runner — About this game
Fifty rooms arrange gold, ladders, platforms and pursuing guards into an ordered challenge. Collecting all the gold reveals the escape ladder, but the room is not finished until you can reach it. Dig temporary holes to delay the guards and recover gold that would otherwise be difficult to approach. A hole also changes your own route, so plan where you will stand after the final pickup. Contact with a guard costs a life, making the timing of both digging and escape part of the puzzle.
