Button 1: fire. Use the directional control to move or aim. Use the firing action to attack a target when the path is clear.

Golgo 13 — About this game

Aim at the windows of a moving train while watching the objects that interrupt the firing line. A blocked shot is dangerous in its own right: the bullet can rebound toward Golgo instead of merely missing the window. Train movement constantly changes the relationship between target and obstruction, leaving short openings for a safe shot. Follow those openings and fire when the path is clear, then reassess the next window rather than assuming the same line remains safe.
