How to Play Lode Runner
Quick start
Press an action button at the title screen to start. Plan a route through the gold and use the ladders to change levels. You cannot jump; collect all the gold to reveal the escape ladder.
Controls
Up and down use ladders; the left action button digs right and the right button digs left.
Lode Runner — About this game
Collect the gold while escaping guards through a network of ladders and platforms. You cannot jump, so each route depends on the ladders, ropes and holes in the floor. Clearing the gold reveals the escape ladder. A hole can stop a guard, but also blocks your own route until you find a way around it; plan the last pickup before committing to a descent.
