How to Play Wonder Boy
Quick start
Begin the opening stage and move with left and right. Use the left action button to jump over obstacles; add the right button for a longer jump. Check the landing place before taking off.
Controls
Left/right: move. Left action button: jump. Right action button: run faster and throw an axe when you have one. Combine the right button with a jump to jump farther.
Wonder Boy — About this game
This SG-1000 version gives Wonder Boy a redesigned set of stages to cross on foot. Run along each route, jump between platforms and use the axe to attack once you have collected it. Running into a jump carries you farther, so check the landing point before committing. With no skateboard to carry you, progress depends on controlling the boy’s speed and jumps and learning where the platforms lead.
