How to Play Sega Superstars Tennis
Quick start
Choose a character and one-off match, practise a serve and several controlled returns, then try a short tournament or a mini-game after reading its target.
Controls
D-pad moves; A uses topspin and B slice. A then B produces a lob; follow the shown timing for other shots and Superstar activation. Stylus control is an alternative setting. Read each mini-game's target instructions.
Sega Superstars Tennis — About this game
SEGA Superstars Tennis combines ordinary matches and short tournaments with mini-games inspired by SEGA worlds. Move into position before swinging, use topspin or slice to change a return and build the star beneath the character through good play. Superstar State then adds a difficult special shot. Begin with a one-off match so you can learn timing before a tournament, where Superstar shots are part of the format. Mini-games change the goal, such as aiming tennis balls at themed targets, so read each task. The DS also offers original local multiplayer, including a limited single-card option.
