How to Play Demolition Man
Quick start
Choose a new game and check the controller configuration. In the first stage, practise movement and firing before jumping into danger. When the view changes overhead, pause to identify exits and safe lines of movement.
Controls
D-pad: move and aim. A/B/C: fire, jump and weapon actions according to the chosen configuration. On a zip line, A applies the brake. START: pause.
Demolition Man — About this game
John Spartan pursues Simon Phoenix across a future city in this film-based action game. The Sega CD version alternates side-scrolling platform stages with overhead combat, changing how the player judges cover and incoming threats. Running, jumping and shooting keep the pursuit moving, but each viewpoint requires a different reading of the space around Spartan. Check the available weapons and keep room to evade rather than treating the overhead sections as ordinary corridors viewed from the side.
