How to Play Ecco the Dolphin CD
Quick start
Use Disc 1 for the first Ecco adventure or Disc 2 for Ecco II. Start a new game, practise swimming and sonar near the surface, then explore short stretches while remembering where Ecco can breathe.

D-pad: swim and turn. A: sonar. B: charge forward. C: swim faster. START: begin or pause.

This entry is disc 1 of a multi-disc release; it forms part of the same work. Ecco the Dolphin CD is the Japanese two-disc collection of Ecco’s first adventure and The Tides of Time. The first journey begins with a disappearance at sea, while the sequel expands the dolphin’s travels through changing eras and environments. Both rely on swimming, sonar and observation to find routes through underwater passages. Air and health limit how long an excursion can last, so remember breathing points as well as the route toward the objective. Choose the disc that contains the adventure you want to begin.
