This football game follows the rhythm of selecting a play and then carrying it out on the field. Its NFL teams have their contemporary names and logos, but the game does not reproduce licensed player names. Season and playoff options provide a longer campaign beyond a single fixture. Weather changes field conditions, so a risky passing plan and a conservative running play offer different ways to gain ground. Chris Berman's presentation gives the matches an ESPN broadcast setting.
