Genei Toshi: Illusion City — About this game
Illusion City keeps its journey within a large city divided into districts instead of sending the party across a conventional world map. Talking to residents, gathering information and accepting missions lead to larger hostile areas. Enemies move visibly on the field, giving exploration an element of choosing when to engage. Battles use turns and an over-the-shoulder view, with three active combatants selected by the unfolding story. Equipment and party decisions complement the investigation: simply finding another fight does not replace learning where the next lead points.
