Heavy Nova — About this game
Heavy Nova mixes movement through a hostile installation with direct battles between giant robots. Getting to the next opponent requires learning how the machine moves and how its upward rocket thrust affects a landing. At close range, punches and kicks have different reach and timing; rushing into another robot's attack wastes an opening. The Mega-CD release belongs to the Japanese version of the game. Approach its combat as a matter of positioning a heavy machine, rather than expecting the quick movement of a human fighting-game character.
