How to Play Iron Helix
Quick start
Start the mission, study the ship map and practise moving the probe between nearby rooms. Gather information in accessible areas while keeping an escape route away from the defender.
Controls
D-pad guides the probe. A activates its arm, collects DNA or confirms a computer choice; B activates the jammer; C cycles map views or cancels. Start opens the probe computer. Use the map to keep away from the Defender.
Iron Helix — About this game
A threatened starship must be explored through a small remote probe rather than a heavily armed hero. Iron Helix combines filmed corridors with maps and control panels as you gather information and pursue the objective aboard the vessel. The ship's roaming defender makes a familiar route dangerous when it cuts off an exit. Because the probe cannot simply shoot its pursuer, watching the map and planning an escape are central skills. Clues and access procedures must be understood before the mission can be resolved.
